I had booked a cylinder through computerised booking of Indane Gas and next day checked with my distributor whether my booking had been done as on a previous occasion. I had the misfortune of it not having being booked inspite of getting a booking docket. now I just wanted to make sure and was told yes booking has been done and you will get in 3-4 days. After waiting 5 days I called again and they said you will get it tomorrow but nothing came.
Every morning I used to be out for prayers so left instructions with all my watchmans that if my cylinder comes they should inform me but nothing came. On the 13/11/13 my maid was still working so I showed her where the money and book were kept and she should take the cylinder but nothing came. That same afternoon heard the dragging sound of a cylinder thinking it was mine but it was for my neighbor. i spoke to the delivery boy and he said I have to check whether you have booked or not he called up from his mobile and they had some long conversation and he asked for my book for my consumer no and informs me that I would not get the cylinder at rs.440 but at rs.984. Since I had completed the aadhar and bank formalities He was waiting for some ok from the office and what should be my payment. He brings up a cylinder and says you have to pay rs.984 as you will get dtl.
My neighbour gets the cylinder for rs.440.Is that fair? they should have a cut off date and everyone from then on gets the cylinder at the same price. Just because I completed formalities why should I be paying more only to have it reimbursed later. Infact I know a lot of people who have the aadhar card but have not linked their bank accounts for security reasons. well I think it very unfair and since I did not get a receipt for the same I asked the delivery boy for it he said it is in the office but I have written in your book. I insisted I wanted the receipt so he said I will bring it tomorrow. zilch nothing came so I rang up the agency and asked them why I was being charged 984 while my neighbor paid only 440 and he told me because all my formalities were completed. i told him to send me my receipt and to just check if my booking showed delivered. he said computer is not working so cant check.I insisted on him sending me the receipt which he said he would the next day. Called up the oil companies toll free number and they said the Indane server is down and it would take 3 to 4 days to get your money in the bank and I asked him what if the money does not come to which he replied then you call this number. I had asked my distributor the same question and he said it takes a month for the money to be deposited
This stupid govt ruling has made us keep a watch on our bank account to see whether money has come or not and nobody really knows the rules or what is happening.
I for one feel the previous system of directly getting subsidy for the cylinder within your quota was good.
Hopefully I will get my money back. By the way I live in Pune and my distributor is Radha Krishna Indane rather RK.of wanawadi,pune.

NOW WE ARE PAYING RS 984.50
LESS: SUBSIDY RECD RS 437.00
NET AMOUT PAYABLE RS 547.50
IN OTHER WORDS, THE GOVT IS MAKING PEOPLE FOOL BY THIS SCHEME AND ENHANCED COST TO AAM ADMI RS( 547.50-412.5.= 135) PER CYLINDER.
The distributors phone is impossible to get as it is constantly engaged.
